Does Car Rental Samui require a deposit?

Yes, we require a deposit. The amount of the deposit depends on each vehicle and can vary from 3,000 to 10,000 THB. The cash deposits will be refunded after the rental period if no damage occurs during the rental period. If any damage is found after returning the car, we will provide you with an on-site estimate and deduct it from your deposit.

What payment methods does Car Rental Samui accept?

We accept Visa, Master cardsFntile rent can be paid in cash upon meeting with our representative.

How old do I have to be to rent a car from Car Rental Samui?

You must be at least 21 years of age to rent with us. Your file must not contain serious traffic violations and/or drunk driving. If this is the case, there is a possibility that your rental agreement and/or booking will be denied. If you are under 21, you can ask us for more information.

Can I add another driver?

Yes, you can add up to two drivers to your rental agreement, the same rules and regulations apply to additional drivers such as age (21), full insurance and net driving experience.

Can I cancel my booking?

Once a booking is made with Car Rental Samui, we will authorize your credit card for a non-refundable amount of 50% of the total rental price. Alternatively, you can telegraph or send us the booking fee. Cancellation fees may be waived at our sole discretion due to unforeseen events such as weather conditions and/or acts of God.

Driving fines, parking tickets and red light tickets:

All drivers are responsible for their own driving tickets, driving tickets and towing costs. Parking Tickets and Red Light Cameras: Renter is solely responsible for parking tickets and red light camera receipts during the rental period.

Towed vehicle:

Any towing costs or damage incurred during the rental cycle will be deducted from the deposit and/or billed to the customer. The client can continue the rental after payment of the fees and release of the car.

Can I return the car a day or more earlier?

We charge the full rental price in advance or on the day of the rental. Once the car is reserved, we cannot rent a car on the days of the rental period. If you cancel early, you will be given credit for future rentals in the number of days remaining during the rental period.

Can I get a car for just 1 rental day?

We have a minimum - 3 days rental. However, we can offer non-guaranteed 1 day rentals subject to availability.

Does Car Rental Samui deliver cars?

We can deliver or collect your rental free of charge within our authorized locations between 10:00 AM (EST) and 8:00 PM (EST). For delivery or pickup outside of business hours, we charge an additional fee of THB 500 or more, depending on location and distance.
